There are no tannins in guayusa, so it lacks the astringent, bitter taste sometimes associated with green and black teas. Instead, it tastes smooth and naturally sweet.

Guayusa contains twice the antioxidants of green tea. These compounds neutralize free radicals and may help prevent premature aging. It also contains chlorogenic acids, which have been reported to contribute to cardiovascular health, help reduce high blood pressure, and regulate body weight. In addition, guayusa contains 15 essential amino acids and has ferulic acid, which can help improve blood circulation.

Hello, I got my delivery of Runa yesterday from Amazon, it is very nice, Thank you for the suggestion… I have small question, I got the use of a plot of land to grow some vegetables as a birthday/Christmas gift, Is it ok to use a polytunnel for growing some vegetables? Ireland can be very wet and sometimes cold, the elements can suddenly change from sun, to rain and people use polytunnels and get great harvest and results.
I have noticed a few posts about plastic etc, so am wondering would using a polytunnel be advantageous or would it be better to chance the mild weather and limit the types of food to a few select veggies that work well in the damp climate?
